HYPNOTHERAPY FAQs
1. Can anyone be Hypnotised?
Simply put, yes. Hypnosis is a voluntary state which is entered with the Therapist's guidance.
Working together to solve the problem.
2. What does Hypnosis feel like?
Feelings vary, but most people experience a deep state of relaxation. However, Hypnosis does
not mean a sleeping state. Whilst within Hypnosis the client will be able to hear everything that is being said and
be fully aware of everything that is going on around them.
3. Will I lose control and do something silly?
No. Only suggestions that have been agreed upon can be acted upon. If the Therapist gave
a suggestion that the client would not normally do in their everyday life, the mind would reject it completely.
4. How many sessions does it take for the Therapy to work?
This varies from client to client and depends upon the client's needs. Some phobias, if they
have not become generalised, can be cured in one session. Smokers can take between one and six sessions depending on
their dependency on nicotine. Each person is an individual and this uniqueness will present different symptoms for any
given condition.
