OK, so your probably thinking to yourself, why on earth should i listen to another muppet on the
internet claiming they can solve all my problems. Truth is four years ago all i knew about Hypnosis was that it was
possible to make people quack a lot, oh and eat onions on demand.
So there i am, a reasonably successful engineer, minding my own business working on top of a big
industrial generator thingy not a care in the world. I ferreted away enjoying the view, and before someone could say
'careful, don't fall of that slippery edge!' I fell off the slippery edge.
Now, as i hurtled unceremoniously towards the soft concrete below, i took a little time to consider
my possible future career options, should i give up engineering. Unfortunately my train of thought was thoughtlessly
punctuated by the ground. As i lay, somewhat oddly, i realised that this might be a good time to consider new career
options.
Fast forward acouple of years, and more than my fair share of physiotherapy, pain killers and sleepless
nights, and i'm considering handing my body over for medical experimentation. Until my partner, at her wits end, tried
a relaxation technique using guided visualisation she had learned years before when training to be a psychologist.
Now, i know what you're thinking, 'I bet he's going to say he was miraculously cured and he's gonna
do the same for me!' Well the truth is for the first time in years i was so completely relaxed that i actually slept
for more than 3 hours that night. So, as my career was over, i decided to pay this therapy a visit and see where it
could take me.
Two years later, a complete lifestyle change and a wonderful woman called Susan Arrowsmith at the Anglia School of Hypnotherapy and lots has changed. I am now a fully qualified, practicing Hypnotherapist in Northern Ireland. Successfully
treating everything from Anxiety to Zelotophobia(fear of jealosy).
So the moral to this story involves slippery edges and concrete, but on the bright side if you wish
to know more, either general enquiries, for an appointment, or if you are interested in training as a Hypnotherapist, please
